Joined by saxophonist Tivon Pennicott and trumpeter Jeremy Pelt, the quintet explores iconic works from both artists’ expansive catalogs—from Giant Steps and Sketches of Spain to Davis’s electric years and Coltrane’s Shades of Blue.
Cohen is the creator of the Masters Legacy Series, winner of the 2019 American Pianists Awards, and a finalist in the Thelonious Monk International Piano Competition. A leader in the jazz world, he regularly headlines major venues and festivals and gained international acclaim for his viral Live From Emmet’s Place YouTube series.
